TheType of Christian Theology that I Absolutely Hate

Dear Readers

I am going to tell you what I absolutely hate. You might not like to hear this.

We are all Christians. We believe in Jesus Christ. We believe in the bible.  We try to get to church. We try to go to Mass. The Christians think just because they read the bible and go to Mass that they are automatically going to heaven.
The bible specifically says the gate to heaven is not easy but why is the path to destruction?

The type of Christians that I dislike are the type that automatically condemn someone when they struggle with a hard time or with a drinking problem or any type of sin... they automatically condemn them or cast them out instead of helping them out.

If any of you is this type of Christian that takes their daughter out from some sort of habit or some sort of thing that they are struggling with you are not being compassionate like Jesus by just telling them that "oh its wrong, get out, I don't want to talk to you". As a matter of fact you are probably tempting things (yourself) to help before they do.

If you really want to be a true Christian you must feel compassion and love. Jesus sat down with the prostitures, with the sinners, with the tax collectors, and thieves and invited them over for dinner. And, if you read the bible even some of the Apostles disagreed with what Jesus is doing. But, this just goes to show how merciful Jesus is.

If we really want to bring somebody to Christ you don't  just shove the bible in the face and verse by verse tell them to do this, do that, if you don't do this your going to hell. You don't force to teach them all the lines... thats exactly what the Pharisees did. And, sometimes I think we can all be like that.

I remember when I was a Christian and I was little my brother drew a picture of a monster and I said that "I thought it was Satan"  and, that my brother was a Devil worshiper. He was into Heavy Metal Music and I said "I thought it was Satan and he was a devil worshiper" but I was wrong.

Christian Immaturity... If we are really mature Christians we have to do things to show that we believe in Christ.  Not just that we know every single verse, every single chapter, every single book in the bible.

Saint Francis of Assisi said spread the Gospel words where necessary. Meaning we can show that we are Christians by doing random acts of kindness. For instance helping the poor or going to drug addict clinic to help them get clean.  You don't have to bring the bible with you. This is so people can see Jesus within us.  We don't have to show the bible. Its by what we do by our kindness, by our love it shows we are believers in Jesus Christ.

It is by doing these things people will ask where do you get this love?  I've never seen it before!  We can introduce them to the bible and the ways of Christ.  But showing them verse by verse, constantly condemming them and saying their going to hell is not the right way.  As a matter of fact as I said earlier... we have to be careful.  Cause when we do that we're probably sentencing ourselves to hell.

If you remember in the bible when Mary Magdalene came into the Temple the Pharisees said "get out of here... we don't want you... your a sinner... we don't want your kind here!".  But Jesus  said "woman come here!" and she knelt down and she cried on Jesus feet and Jesus said "your sins are forgiven... go and sin no more".

In order to bring people to Christ you must understand peoples pain before being rigid.  And, I notice some Catholic families are so strict that they are even afraid to approach their parents about certain things that they are struggling with. Which makes them want to leave the faith and rebell because of this fear and because they think that God is this rigid.

God is more love than anything.  And to condemn a person to throw them out... thats judging them. Now I'm not saying don't call out the sin but you have to be gentle in how to deal with bringing the person back to Christ. And not just constantly keep saying this is wrong and that is wrong.

Show them love. Show them works of mercy. Show them how you help people.  Go to the hospital. Help the homeless.  Get your hands dirty and do something that you've never done before thats out of your comfort zone. Show people that you really believe in God.

The letter of James said "faith without work is dead".  Which means you can have faith. You can say you believe in Jesus all you want but does that mean you are saved? You have to show works of love to show you believe in Jesus.

I have the Gift of Prophecy but does that mean I am saved? because I have the Gift of Prophecy. NO... I have been in mortal sin so many times... I humbly admit that.  I struggle with sin all the time and I visit the Confessional every two weeks not twice a week.

We have to be humble Christians and I don't like the Christians that say Oh! I believe in Jesus Christ and I'm automatically saved. I can do whatever I want and condemn everybody else. NO... its not the way it works!

The reason why I'm writing this letter is because I know people who are like that and I'm sick of it. It loses more souls. But with the love of Christ it wins souls.

I was struggling with sin before... I won't say what sin it was. I was sitting there waiting for the Blessed Sacriments and I said Jesus you had me writing all this stuff for people to hear and you inspire me...you move me to do all these things. And yet I struggle with this and this and this... I don't feel worthy in doing your work.

Jesus spoke to me in an inner voice and he said "I use the weakest of men to build up my kingdom. Cast your sin into the ocean of My Mercy and I will take care of you".  You see how merciful Jesus is?

So if you think you know Jesus just because you read the bible, go to Mass, and you do all the rituals, think again!  Yes its good to teach them right from wrong and the Commandments but, if they did something wrong, if they had fallen into sin, be like Jesus... sit down with them and don't cast them out.

Because, if you do that. If you get mad at them. You ban them. Bring them home and help them with whatever they are struggling with... whatever the sin... so you don't lose that soul.  If your condeming you could be going to hell yourself.

For example we know that Jesus is compasionate by the Parable of the Lost Son. When the son wandered away from his father and took all his riches in his estate and too off and spent all the money until he had nothing.

He went back to his father and his father was so glad to have him. This story is called "The Parable of the Prodigal Son". I don't know exactly what Gospel it is in but Jesus is willing to accept anyone. Anyone entering the Church needs to feel love there in order to know the laws and love of Jesus.

Its Gods law that sets us free. In order to introduce people to Jesus and God the Father we must show the love of Christ ourselves.
